The high school program challenges students through a variety of both standard and advanced opportunities such as Dual Enrollment, AP Classes, and Technical Skills Center courses through a flexible modular (Flex Mod) schedule - equipping each student for college, career, and beyond.
The mission of TCS is to graduate academically excellent disciples of Christ and this program is the last leg of the journey. As such, we place a strong emphasis on discipleship opportunities including an international missions experience, weekly corporate worship, servant leadership groups, outreach opportunities, Spiritual Emphasis Days, and more.
As an extension of their learning in the classroom, high school students also have the opportunity to develop socially, spiritually, and in their leadership skills through participation in Student Council, National Honors Society, SALT (spiritual leadership) team, and our athletics programs.
Flex mod
scheduling
Flex Mod is designed to put students in a position of greater independence and allow for a wider variety of courses for students to choose from. The flexibility of the schedule allows students to complete homework during school, have greater access to teachers for questions/support during school, and equips students with time management skills. Philosophically, we feel Flex Mod offers the best opportunity to meet the diverse needs of students to best prepare students for a successful launch into post high school academics.
