Homeschool Hybrid Program 1st-6th

Tri-unity Christian School

2025-2026

LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE*

*NOTE: 1st and 2nd Grade Homeschool Hybrid for 2026-2027 is full.

**

Purpose: The TCS home-school program is designed to honor the "homeschool heartbeat" and support parents in teaching their children while also giving students a “school day” experience. Students mingle with grade level peers, experience three days of instruction (M/W/F) and specials (art, PE, music, Spanish, etc.) that are scheduled on MWF, participate in worship, and experience classroom activities as they develop their walk with Christ. Parents oversee their child(ren)'s progress while utilizing lesson plans and materials provided by TCS.

Grades: As of 2025, this program is available for 1st-8th grades.

Attendance:

  • Attend full time the first 3 weeks and final 2 weeks of school.
  • Encouraged to attend on the T/Th after a snow day that occurred on a Monday/Wednesday; due to adjustments in lesson plans; teachers won't have materials available for pick up on T/Th.
  • Option to attend field trips and classroom parties scheduled on T/Th.
  • Attend the M/T before Thanksgiving (classroom parties on Tuesday); normal schedule before Spring Break (M/W at school, T homeschool).
  • If absent on a M/W/F due to sickness or vacation, follow the normal hybrid schedule.
  • Attend full time during the week of exams (MS), SAT's (1st-7th) and day of PSAT/MSTEP (8th).
  • Participate in Speech Meet Competition, Wax Museum/Science Fair, Homecoming Week (MS).
  • Invited to attend music class to prepare for Christmas/Spring Program or Praise Gathering rehearsal.
  • Follow the normal hybrid schedule during special dress up days that occur on Tuesday/Thursday (Christmas, Reading Month, etc.).

Benchmarks & Accountability: Hybrid students participate in standardized testing (SAT’s, PSAT’s). A conference will be scheduled between parents/teachers if students are not completing work or meeting grade level expectations. It may be determined that the hybrid program is not a good fit for a student/family. Parents are expected to communicate regularly with teachers to ensure students are keeping up on work.

Special Services: Special services are not available to elementary hybrid students, however, we do provide special services in MS classes that align with a service schedule that is already being provided for FT students. Students that switch to full-time status will not automatically get assigned to Special Services. If you have potential concerns regarding your student(s), please talk to your principal.

Tuition: There is no financial assistance or “special discounts” to hybrid students. Example: pastor discounts and multi-student discounts do not apply.

CAPS: The number of students permitted in the hybrid program is limited per grade level and classroom, and while it can vary year to year, we typically allow 3-4 students per classroom. Current homeschool hybrid families get priority for enrolling younger siblings, then current TCS families may apply for a hybrid seat. If seats are still available, new families may enroll in March, first enrolled is first assigned. Select homeschool hybrid when you enroll, but please understand this does not guarantee your place.

Yearly Required Meeting: Each year, we request parents and teachers attend a meeting to discuss expectations for the new school year.

Hybrid/Full Time Status: Families that choose the hybrid program must begin the school year in the program. Students may move to full-time status during the school year. A meeting with the principal is required prior to making the switch. Students may not move into the hybrid program mid-year.

RaiseRight Tuition incentive Program

Introducing an easy way to save on tuition simply by purchasing gift cards! The RaiseRight Tuition Incentive Program (formerly called TRIP) is a fundraiser for Tri-unity Christian School that DOESN’T COST YOU anything – in fact, you MAKE money by using this program. It is one of the only fundraisers that:

  1. Doesn’t cost anyone anything!

  2. Reduces tuition for YOU!

  3. Benefits the school financially!

Here is how it works. By purchasing gift cards or shopping online for everyday purchases you would be making anyway or special occasion purchases, you receive a percentage of that purchase back in the form of a tuition rebate. The more you purchase, the more you will save on tuition – and the more the school will benefit from their portion of the rebate. It has NEVER been easier to start saving and fundraising now!

The RaiseRight program is open to anyone (you, your friends, and relatives) wanting to get in on these savings and fundraising.
